Breaking it Down: if we could just…

If we would allow ourselves to step outside our current life, dropping for a moment our inner thoughts, forgetting what we have been taught in our schools, our homes and step back from any religious beliefs we have, opening our mind to all we see, what would we like the world to be like?

With everything that is happening around this world, many times in the name of God, or some god, or Allah, or in the name of progressive evolution, one should wonder why. Why does man take something so simple to grasp, add his desires and then drive his agenda?  What is it that makes man’s desire to do evil, to hate, to murder?

If you are a Christian, you say you believe in God. Why do those that kill in the name of this belief, kill at all, when to be a Christian you are to love one another.

If you a Muslim, you say you believe in God. Why do those that kill in the name of this belief, kill at all, when to be a Muslim you are to love one another.

If you acknowledge that God exist, then you should show love to everyone.

What makes man behave as he does? What makes humans make up their own rules just to satisfy man’s own desires?

One of the most basic needs in life is to be loved by a mother or father, a brother or sister, a son or a daughter, a friend or a foe. Yes, even our enemy. If we loved our enemies and we were loved by our enemies, we would no longer have enemies. It makes no difference where in this world you live or what your beliefs are. Love enables each of us to grasp our desired happiness and defeat evil, to stop doing evil, to stop being evil.

Coming back full circle, we step back into our world realizing that love is drastically missing in so many places. We recognize that some force is driving man away from this simple principle of life. Is it intellect and a belief man has evolved and that some levels of man are greater than others? Is it the man-made rules in some religious belief that pits one against another? Is it a form of arrogance, conceit, pride or superiority that separates one from another? Is it aggressiveness versus laziness? Is it an evil force driving the wedge of hate and deceit into our lives?

This is a question we should ask ourselves?

To be loved one must show love remembering that real love is unconditional and real love expects nothing in return. If your religious belief, which includes all religions, (i.e. Christian, Muslim/Islam, Atheist, Buddhism, etc.) includes evil, hate, murder, then maybe you should rethink your religious belief and take a stand for “Love your neighbor” and bring this world back to what it was designed to be from the beginning.

Science and the Moon – Truth or Theory

When looking into science we find so many fascinating discoveries. So much of what we see and live in today, evolves around the world of science, engineering, and discovery. It has the ability to rule our world if we should elect to allow it. Is it possible what we think we understand is not really the total truth?

In researching for information about the moon and it’s effects on the earth, I found several things that should make us set back and think just a little. I’m not trying to show extremely accurate scientific facts and figures. But when you look at the theories about evolution and take into account the terminology of billions of years, we open up the theories to the question of the real probabilities of them being true.

One set of information tells us that in about a billion years the moon will have no effect on the earth and it’s tide. This is because the earths rotation will become slower than the moon and the effects of the sun and earth will reverse the moon and it will begin to move back towards the earth and should arrive in about 2 billion years. When it arrives it will break up and form rings around the earth similar to the rings of Saturn.

One set of information tell us the moon is moving away from earth at a rate of 1.5 inches per year.

One set of information tell us that the moon was formed when it split from the earth while other information might tell us that the moon was formed when maybe two smaller moons collided forming what we know today as the moon of the earth.

  • So where is this place on earth that the moon broke out of?

I’m sure some would say that the earth has had a billion years to cover it’s tracks, so let’s leave that one alone.

  • How did it fly out of the earths gravity as either one big chunk or even smaller pieces and into space and “not” take on the looks of Saturn’s rings around the earth?

For the moon to have started to orbit the earth, it would have need for the earth to have been in existence in some form. Otherwise, the moon would have been something just wandering in space.

  • So does that mean it is slightly younger than the raw form of the earth?

If the moon is moving away from the earth at a predetermined rate of 1.5 inch’s per year, and it will take about 1 billion more years before it reverses direction, and using the 2 billion years needed to return to the earth before it will break up creating rings around the earth, than maybe we could estimate that the earth was 1 billion years old with respect to when the moon was formed and will be 3 billion years old when the moon returns to it’s origin. However, many in science will estimate the age of the earth at approximately 3.5+ billion years old.

At the rate of 1.5 inches per/year that the moon moves away – which is what science tell us – and given it’s current location in space with a distance of approximately 220,593 from edge of earth to the edge of the moon (not center to center), the moon would have need to have started at a point that is 23,674 miles closer to earth than it is today. This would also mean that it will move another 23,674 miles farther away before it start to return towards earth. This would mean that the moon, if formed by splitting off earth, was sent quickly out to a distance of 196,919 miles from earth when it was formed. If it has a constant rate of 1.5 inches per/year of movement and it will take 2 billion years to again return back to the earth before breaking up, then it will need to travel much faster than 1.5 inches per/year because in 2 billion years it will only be back to approximately 196,919 miles from earth.

  • Why would the effects of gravity and magnetic pull that are currently sending the moon away from earth have the opposite effect causing it to return?
  • Why would the moon not just float away into space and the earth loose the effects of the moon?
  • If the earth is only one billion years old with respect to the moon and the moon was needed before life could be formed, then wouldn’t the beginning of life on earth be just a little younger than 1 billion years?

You may ask why this is important. It is because so often we take what we read as completely true and base our life on it. Now, I am sure you may not sit around and contemplate questions about the affects of the moon on your life.

  • But what about the affects of science on your life that you are led to believe is true and not just a theory?
  • What if all this was created and it didn’t just evolve?

Theories are great but should remain a theory unless it is proven factual. No one should position a theory as true just to drive one’s own beliefs and agendas.

Why is it that so many want to believe that everything just evolved? What is wrong with the idea that everything was created? Why do so many avoid this?

To Flip the Coin of Chance

Tossing a Coin

Flipping a coin to make a decision is leaving luck and chance control what will happen or what path one will take. It’s either heads or tails. Heads, we move to the right. Tails, we move to the left. The only thing left is if the coin should land on its side. Then we are faced with indecision. We should all know that if we ride the fence long enough we will fall off but sometimes we try.

In either case, if the coin comes up heads or tail it still takes a level of faith to move forward with that decision. Other wise we would not have flipped a coin. We made a decision to leave everything to the fait of the flip of that coin.

What happens if someone has a coin that has two heads on it and we always call heads? So the coin is flipped in the air and as always we call heads and as it settles on the ground we see it is heads. We may assume that this is the answer and we move forward believing that this is meant to be. That this is the direction we will go, this is what we should place our faith in and we move forward. However, not knowing that it would come up heads no mater what, we have been deceived by the one with the coin. Our life has been directed by someone else that has their own interest at heart. The decision was really not ours. It was stacked in a direction of someone else. We have been deceived!

“When it come to where we place our faith are we flipping a coin?”

Achieve Victory!

Achieve Victory!

Perseverance and faith will drive one to victory! Without either one of them we only stand in one place or wander about wondering why!

We all face daily challenges, but we shouldn’t allow these challenges to deter or discourage us. We should allow them to be a driving force until we achieve that which we set out to do. Too often we miss out on achieving success because we don’t persevere. We give up without realizing how close we are to victory. Remember that victory is achieved through perseverance!

What in the “WORLD” is Happening?

So your mad at the world, made at your country, upset with the violence, discussed with the TV and radio media, disturbed with the politicians, and even angry with God. The church has let you down, your country is going to hell in a hand basket, you search for answers but all you hear are the issues. No answers can be found. When searching you only find reasons why every concept will not work leaving zero answers for a remedy. Pointing the finger is the first reaction of most and many times the only reaction. Every minority and majority wants their rights regardless of color, race, religion, way of life and could care less about anyone else as long as they get their way. Many times these different groups speak out against others just because they don’t agree with their point of view or beliefs even when they have never taken the time to understand each other. When a majority is made up of many minorities like the Christianity and Muslim religious beliefs, they don’t even agree with each other within each group. Everyone is out for themselves and strongly desire that the rest of the world believe their way of thinking but won’t give an inch towards comprehending the other side. All you see is hate and very little love. Kindness many times just doesn’t exist. One faith despises another – it’s their way or the highway in spite of the fact most of them preach “Love”. When will it all end????

Ok, I must stop myself. But does this feel like you on occasion or possible most everyday? So what are the answers?

1) Is it Gods fault that bad things happen?

2) Is it mans fault that bad things happen?

3) Is it money that drives everything?

4) What happened to: “Love your neighbor as yourself?”

5) What happened to: “Do onto others as you would like them to do to you?”

If we try to sum things up just a little we might recognize that if there is no God as some believe, than it must be man (man/women) that is messing with things and causing all the problems.

The other side of the coin is that there is a God (which many believe) that started everything. If He created everything and then added man (man/woman) then what we see is pretty good except for how man has turned out. So I would suggest that man again is the one that is causing all the problems. And remember that if you believe in God and follow the Bible or even the Koran, then it all started with just one man and one woman. Even science tells us that we all go back to one man/woman.

Suggestion: “If man (man/women) would use integrity as the model of how to live, would not this world be a better place?”

Should we ask ourselves – Just What If?

What if? What if everyone that has ever lived in this world had never asked the question – what if? To just accept and never question should eliminate the required thinking part of our brains. We only would need enough brain that our body would function a little like how our heart works and we never have to tell it to beat, it just happens. But we can think if we choose too. The world is flat? But someone questioned that idea and guess what, it’s round. If one never questioned a thing, would there be any new inventions, cures for diseases, actually anything outside of what just happens on it’s own? So we could agree that using the word “IF” is an essential part of our life. It adds clarity to how we view thing, what we use, what we eat, and etc. So what if the world is not as you believe it is. Across this world we live in, we continue to see the evil that people do. Most of the time when someone does evil they truly believe the other deserves what they get. There is also good being done but we so often only hear about the bad on consistent basis. If you don’t ask or look for the good you generally never hear about it unless you stumble onto it. It make little difference what ethnic race you are, or if you are a Christian, a Muslim, a Buddhist, or someone that doesn’t believe in any god, evil affects us all. As this world we should all love spirals downward, it may just be the time to ask some important questions. Asking questions about why and then follow it up with the question “what if” could just possibly change the world we live in or at least how we view it. Here are some interesting life altering questions that maybe should be pondered.

  • What if evolution is real and no god exist? Would you say that nothing much else maters once you die? Of course most would want good things to happen but in the end, would it have any effect on the one doing the bad because he and/or she would just cease to exist. The end.
  • What if only good people that die come back as something or someone else? What is it that constitutes good? And if you are not good what happens to you? If you just cease to exist then again it has little consequence to the one that is not deemed good so they really wouldn’t care if they have no reason or desire to be good.
  • What if the god of Christianity is the real God?
  • What if the Devil is real?
  • What if there is a God of everything and a Devil trying to disrupt everything? This would explain why we have good and bad things happening no mater who is doing either.
  • What if the Bible is really full of nothing by facts?
  • What if the Islamic god of the Muslim Shiite is the real God?
  • What if the Islamic god of the Muslim Sunni is the real God?
  • What if the Sunni and Shiite God is real and it is the same God?
  • What if there is a good place and a bad place like heaven and hell we go to when we leave this world as we know it?
  • What if the Muslim god Allah is really God?
  • What if the god of Christianity and the god of Islam is truly the “God” the very “same God”?
  • What if God said “Thou shall not kill”?
  • What if we didn’t evolve and we were created by someone much bigger than we are.
  • What if God is real? Then maybe we should look up to Him and honor Him because He is far beyond our understanding and comprehension.

If God gave us the ability to make choices, He knew it could be a good choice or a bad choice. But if we didn’t have the ability to make choices, the life we live would be without purpose. If God likes us to make good choices then why do we kill in his name? Is killing a good choice in anybody’s name?

A lot of questions that so many just take for granted. But what if???? Are we ready for the decision that we have made??? Are we willing to stake it on anything other than our own personal investigation? Are we willing to take everything on what someone else tells us is the truth and never question what they say? Are we really ready for the real end result? Only one is true!
